We will be joining the congregation of St Aubyn’s for a special, one-off service as they celebrate their 250th anniversary at 11am.

And newcomers are always welcome to join us!
November 11th
November 8, 2020Government regulations sadly but necessarily mean that we are unable to hold a service of Remembrance this year. But both St Michael’s and St Aubyn’s will be open for private prayer from 10.30am to 11.30am on Wednesday November 11th. Both churches contain memorials to those who fell in the First World War and it will be an opportunity for everyone to pause and pray, and to keep silence.
Morning Prayer at St Aubyn’s
November 4, 2020Under the new national lockdown, St Aubyn’s isn’t able to meet for its customary service of Holy Communion tomorrow. So Revd Sue will be leading a service of Morning Prayer by Zoom, with contributions from other members of the congregation.
We will be looking at Matthew 5:1-12 and Revelation 7:9-17 as we remember All Saints.
You will be able to follow this service live by clicking onto the church Facebook page and we very much look forward to seeing you!
Licensing postponed
September 28, 2019On Sunday 29th, 3pm at St Aubyn’s, Ruth Sayers was due to be relicensed by the Bishop of Plymouth for her work as a community development worker in the area. However, due to ill health, this has been postponed, and we will instead have our normal all-age service. If you know anyone who was coming to support Ruth, please pass this news on … and encourage them to come anyway, to see and support St Aubyn’s in this pioneering ministry 🙂
A new partnership
June 19, 2019Since 1st January Revd Tim has been overseeing our sister church St Aubyn’s down in Chapel Street, Devonport. Now that all the legal processes have been completed, it has now been confirmed that from 1st July there will be a new united benefice of St Michael and St Barnabas with St Aubyn’s. We must find a shorter working title! Please pray for both churches as we enter a time of new partnership and, with the Lord’s blessing, growth.
If you can’t make a Sunday morning at St Michael’s, why not come along to St Aubyn’s? We meet on Thursdays at 10am for a service of Holy Communion or on Sundays at 3pm for All-Age Worship. Everyone welcome!
