Palm Sunday

Making a return visit

Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation,
gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

(From the book of the prophet Zechariah, chapter 9, verse 9)

On Palm Sunday 9th April we are welcoming back the donkeys who joined us at Christmas to remember Jesus’ entry in Jerusalem.

After our service at 10.30am, the donkeys will be joining us at 12 noon. We are aiming to process up Albert Road from 12.30pm into the village and then down into Devonport Park for a picnic (or back to St Michael’s if the weather is bad).

So please invite family and friends, and bring some food to share!

(There will be no bring and share lunch tomorrow, 2nd April at St Michael’s)
