CTiDS – Churches Together in Stoke and Devonport

A number of those involved in leadership of our local churches in Stoke and Devonport gathered together at the Methodist Church in Buckfast Abbey grounds yesterday for our first ‘vision day’. We have been meeting together regularly for breakfast and prayer for some time, but this was our first opportunity to spend an entire day together seeking God’s presence and in support of each other.

We recognised the significance of us all having been called to the area, yet we all have different gifts and skills, so our ongoing prayer will be to ask God to show us how we can work more closely together as a team to equip all those in our churches to love and serve him …

Ephesians 4

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
