75th anniversary

75 years ago today, St Michael’s was the victim of the most intense night of bombing Plymouth experienced during the blitz. Four incendiary bombs levelled the church and the debris blocked the main rail line from London to Penzance. Today we remember all those who lost their lives in the bombing, and give thanks for the continued witness of St Michael’s down the years.
