Over the past few years we have been building up our links with the parish church in Bovey Tracey and as part of our ongoing fellowship we have organised a joint church walk. We will be walking from Bonehill Down round Honeybag and Hound Tor – even taking in a deserted medieval village on the way. There is a sign up list at both churches. Please do come along with family and friends, and bring a packed lunch. What better way to enjoy the late September sunshine?
Here is a suggested route to Bonehill Down:
Go along the A38 and take the A383 junction. Instead of bearing right over the bridge towards Newton Abbot, take the unclassified road on the left. Turn right at Cold East Cross, and turn left when you join the B3387 (heading towards Widecombe). Car park is on the right at Bonehill Down, just past the turning to Manaton.
