Once a year we stop and look back at the way the Lord has led the church over the past twelve months and look forward to the future. This is what we are doing on April 18th at St Barnabas from 9.30am onwards as we hold our Annual Church Meetings for both churches. It is really is so important that as many people as possible try to attend. One half of the morning we will be looking at the Mission Action Points that we drew up at our Away Day. We need to spend some time together to see how we are really going to put them into practice, and what the Lord is calling us to do. The other half of the morning we will be holding our official Annual Church Meetings. We will elect churchwardens, receive reports, and invite nominations to the church council. These are legal responsibilities we have to carry out, but they can also be an opportunity to reflect on the way the Lord has been working at St Michael’s and St Barnabas.
The St Barnabas annual meeting will be at 9.30am, and discussion of the Mission Action Points will take place from 11am onwards.
St Michael’s will be gathering from 9.30am to discuss the Mission Action Points and the annual meeting will be at 11am.
It would be great if everyone could stay for a bring and share lunch at 12.30am. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Revd Tim.
