Be devoted to one another in brotherly love (Romans 12:10)
Many people make the mistake of thinking that love is primarily a feeling. But feelings come and feelings go, and love based on feelings will not last. The love Paul talks about here is the long-term commitment to seek the good of other people, sometimes even in spite of how we ourselves feel. Simply put, it is a decision to persevere in love, no matter the cost.
Today thank someone who has shown you love over a long period of time.
