We pray this week for the tiny nation of Guyana, the only English speaking nation in South America. It is a country divided on ethnic lines between descendants of African slaves and workers from South Asia. Most of the country is rainforest, and its borders are disputed with neighbouring countries. It relies heavily on sugar exports but many travel abroad for work. Pray for the church to show unity, work for peace, and live holy lives.
