We come this week to Greece, the first country in Europe to be reached with the gospel. To be Greek is to be part of the Orthodox church but there is very little gospel understanding to go with cultural identity, and little acceptance of other denominations. Meanwhile the country still faces huge economic challenges and it is governed by a fragile coalition committed to an unpopular austerity programme. Pray that once again the gospel will revive both the nation and the church.
Pray for a clear presentation of the Gospel to reach a nation where very few have heard the Truth. (Prayercast)
