Bishop Peter Bartlett and his wife Sally were our guest speakers at both churches this morning.
Peter introduced us to the Diocese of Paraguay, and to some of the churches, both in the capital Asunción and in the Chaco – a sparsely populated, hot and semi-arid lowland in the north of the country. Peter spoke about what it means to be a disciple before Sally joined him to share with us some of the work she does among the women. Finally, Peter finished by talking about his role in encouraging and training pastors. The final slide is a list of prayer pointers.
Please do uphold Peter and Sally in your prayers. They return to Paraguay in April.
