On Saturday, October 1st, St Michael’s will hold it’s first Prospects service and tea. Prospects is an organisation working with adults with learning difficulties, both in residential care and in making Christian worship accessible. St Michael’s is working with churches across the city to re-establish a regular opportunity for worship …

There are over 1.5 million people with learning disabilities in the UK; they are in every parish and every community, and they need to know that Jesus loves them. Prospects provides advice, training and resource materials to equip churches for effective ministry and outreach among people dearly loved by God and often marginalised by society. (

So this Saturday we will be celebrating harvest … and you can’t celebrate harvest without food! The event begins with tea at 5pm followed by worship and probably then more food! Future events will be announced on this website, so watch this space …
